305.502.6837Dr. Shelley Farin SLP.D. CCC-SLP is the owner of South Florida Speech Therapy, LLC. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minoring in Education. She received both her Masters of Science degree and Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Farin has experience working with both the pediatric and adult/geriatric population and has worked in a variety of settings including: hospitals, outpatient facilities, schools, home health, skilled nursing facilities, and private therapy. Dr. Farin is certified in Vital Stim Therapy and LSVT, and is able to speak conversational Hebrew. In her spare time, Dr. Farin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and cooking.
Stacey Rosenberger M.S., CFY-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist at South Florida Speech Therapy LLC. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders at SUNY New Paltz and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University in August 2015. She has 3 years of experience in the pediatric population, 2 of which were working as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant while completing her Master's degree. She is a member of the American Speech and Language Hearing Association and is currently holds a certification for the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment.
Khudaija Awan MS., CF-SLP received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University in Special Education specializing in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. She received her Master's degree in 2015 from Nova Southeastern University in Speech-Language Pathology. Khudaija has experience working with the pediatric and adult population in the home, school, clinic, and skilled nursing facility setting. She is dedicated to providing the best and ethical services, establishing relationships, achieving goals and helping her clients reach their optimal potential. Khudaija speaks fluent Urdu and conversational Sign Language.
Kayla Ertter M.S., CCC-SLP is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University, 2010. She moved down to sunny Florida and attended Nova Southeastern University to receive a Masters of Speech Language Pathology. Kayla has experience working with adult/geriatric and pediatric populations with a wide range of disabilities and diagnoses. She is currently receiving certification for Vital Stimulation Therapy and able to communicate with functional ASL. It is her compassion to help others in any form of communication from a range of ages and different diagnoses. Kayla has the aspects of strong work ethic and carries positivity with her career and everyday life.
Raquel Farin is Venezuelan born, coming to America at 16 years old in order to pursue her education. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014, majoring in Film and Multimedia, with a minor in Jewish Studies. Raquel has many years experience working with the pediatric population as a tutor and teacher. She tutors children in Spanish, Photoshop, and Jewish Studies. In her spare time Raquel enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and planning events.
